Got the chance to speak on another great panel. Agenda:

As of 2022, the US is the most active region in power digitalization based on data compiled by BloombergNEF. However, as utilities digitalize, and information and operational technologies (IT/OT) integrate, cybersecurity is increasingly critical for utility resilience. This panel session will be kicked off with a talk on BNEF’s research on power utility digitalization trends and partnerships, and a deeper dive into utility cybersecurity. This 15-minute talk will be followed by an interactive panel discussion on cybersecurity in the power sector, with utility and tech company panelists. The panel will discuss key cyber threats, technologies that can help utilities mitigate those threats, and how utility strategies need to change to boost cyber resilience.

Lucky to have fellow panelists:

  • India James from Exelon,
  • Mara Winn from the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER).
  • Bilal Khursheed from Microsoft,
  • and moderated by Amanda Ahl from BloombergNEF.
