I was working on some documentation today. I was still in the brainstorming phase, just putting ideas and thoughts and probable solutions down.
It was around this point that I realized I was answering questions to problems that I had yet to define. This sadly creeps up more often than one would like to admit. At least more than I like to admit.
 So back to basics:
- Define the question
- Gather information and resources
- Form hypothesis
- Perform experiment and collect data
- Analyze data
- Interpret data and draw conclusions that serve as a starting point for new hypotheses
- Publish results
thus speaketh the wiki
